2016 Ford Mustang GT Project: 1200+ Supercharged Horsepower

Supercharged Mustang
This week’s featured project is a 2016 Ford Mustang GT being built by Walter (80FoxCoupe) from Cincinnati, OH. It features a sleeved Predator block topped with a F-1A-94 Procharger that’s currently making just under 1,300 horsepower at the rear wheels.
More Power, More Problems
During one of the dyno runs the car sustained catastrophic failure which included a twisted driveshaft, split transmission casing and broken rear differential among other components requiring replacement. That setback certainly won’t stop the builder from forging on with the build.
Quarter Mile Monster
The Mustang ran a 8.4328 @ 159.07 MPH on a smaller D1X unit and the owner is hoping to get it in the low 8’s with the newly installed F-1A unit. Walter would like to give a shoutout to BA Motorsports in Loveland, OH for their help with the build.
