This 1978 Porsche 911SC Targa reportedly spent time in New York before being acquired by the seller in Colorado in October 2001. Finished in black over black, the car is powered by an air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Maintenance in October 2019 is said to have included replacement of the oil lines and an oil change. Now showing 159k miles, this 911SC Targa is offered with an owner’s manual, factory literature, tool roll, service records, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The car reportedly received a partial repaint under prior ownership and now shows bubbling on the hood, as well as checking, peeling, and other imperfections as detailed in the photo gallery below. The Targa top is said to have been reconditioned in 2005, and other features include fog lights, an electric rear window defroster, tinted windows, and European-spec H5 headlights with color-keyed rings.Learn more at Bring a Trailer.
