Rebuilding a Camaro ZL1
Most people would be happy to stop by their local dealership and purchase a new car even half as amazing as a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Not Victster from Seattle, Wa. After taking ownership of an Ashen Gray Metallic on black, 6-speed manual, he immediately began dismantling the car in preparation for all kinds of modifications.
Why Not Upgrade Everything?
His build thread on Camaro5 shows every step of the build which now includes a complete engine removal and rebuild along with exhaust, cooling system and clutch upgrades. the chassis was stiffened and performance suspension components were installed. The interior received the necessary safety components including a roll bar and a custom stereo was wired up.
So you’d think the project would be mostly complete at this point? Of course not! The owner is now building a completely new engine and the greatest part is that his wife actually helps with the work. I’d say she’s a keeper!
